Robert Anders has more than forty years experience as an industrial designer and design manager for the U.S. Government, consultant design firms and as head of corporate design for Bristol-Myers Company and head of Revlon's POP Display department.

He retired as a tenured full professor from Pratt institute, having taught both undergraduate and graduate industrial design courses, and was the founding head of the graduate Design Management Program. 

He had lectured internationally and taught and wrote about "universal design" and the ADA.

He has served as an industrial design expert in inellectual property cases involving: design patents (47); utility patents (19); trade dress (17); trademarks (10); trade secrets (3) and copyrights (5).

He also served s an industrial design expert in 142 product liability cases.

He is a member of the IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) and the HF&ES (Human Factors & Ergonomics Society.
