Gerald Dworkin is a professional Aquatics Safety Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources, a private company dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. Dworkin develops educational curriculums in Aquatics Safety; Lifeguard Operations and Management; Water Rescue; Swiftwater Rescue; and Ice Rescue, and conducts this training throughout North America for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors. Dworkin has written and published numerous articles and has appeared on national media broadcasts including CNN; MSNBC News; ABC's Good Morning America; NBC's Today Show; CBS' Early Show; The Weather Channel; The Discovery Channel; and Fire Emergency Training Network. Dworkin regularly consults as a Forensics Expert in drowning and aquatic injury litigation. He will review and analyze Police and Fire Rescue Incident Reports; Hospital Emergency Records; Witness Statements; and Depositions; and will render opinions based on the industry's Standard of Care. He will generate reports of his opinions, and prior to the taking of his deposition and/or testimony at trial, will develop a comprehensive Powerpoint Presentation to educate the judge and jury regarding the Standard of Care and whether or not that Standard of Care was breached causing or contributing to the incident.
