Robert (Bob) Jasinski is a safety professional with a broad background in the materials handling industry, specializing in forklift safety.  He has over 34 years of forklift related experience including development of forklift safety training programs for operators and instructors of forklift operators.  Through his company, LiftSafe Inc. (est. 1998), he publishes “The Professional Operator - Lift Truck Safety Training Written Response Workbook” and the “LiftSafe Forklift Instructor Training and Resource Guide”.  He provides forklift instructor and operator training to companies across numerous industry sectors including biotech, food manufacturing and distribution, building materials, construction, electronics, government, military, cities, counties, school districts, the forest service and others.   

As an expert witness, he has provided forklift accident litigation support in over 60 cases, working with both plaintiff and defense.  His case histories are many and varied and include numerous forklift injury cases involving serious injuries and fatalities.  He possesses a thorough working knowledge of accepted safe industry practices pertaining to powered industrial truck applications in addition to OSHA, CalOSHA, and ITSDF (ASME B56) Standards.   

Bob is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and serves on the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory board of Las Positas College.  In addition to his ASSE and material handling industry training and experience, he is an Authorized OSHA 10/30 Hour Course Trainer, holds a certification in Occupational Safety and Health from Las Positas College, and is a graduate ofSt. PaulTechnicalCollegein Electro Mechanical Technology.
